The sublime work of renowned photographer Frank Hurley, who documented early human life in Antarctica like no other, has been my inspiration for this cool white on white necklace, that simply lights up the room through its subtle palette and contrasting shapes. Just like Antarctic landscapes of icebergs, glaciers and snowdrifts all differ in their monochromatic hues of white and in their texture, this necklace is a mini mosaic of white tones and juxtaposing forms, complemented by crisp silver. Smooth Agates from Brazil, cool pearls from Shanghai, raw and faceted Quartz from Hong Kong are complemented by the smallest sliver of luminescent Labradorite from Madagascar. While this piece has definite winter vibes it is not reserved for ice queens, it looks and feels just as great with any summer outfit.
Like all our pieces, it is one of a kind, handcrafted with love and care in our studio near Byron Bay.
